How to Get Even More Leads and Customers for Free

This past weekend was my daughter’s 7^th birthday party. As a surprise to her, I rented an ice cream truck to pull up while we were playing games on the front lawn.  The kids were so excited that 1) There was ice cream, 2) They could pick whatever treat they wanted, and 3) It was free.

Being 7, they were old enough to recognize that they were getting something good for free. (My four year old, on the other hand, said to me later in the evening, “Wait mom—you planned that?”)

When it comes to Facebook marketing, you can still get leads and customers for free. The last two weeks we went over how to create your juicy carrot and create your profit generation system. (Catch up here.) 

This week, let’s look at more places to earn free leads and customers.  Go through the checklist and make sure all of yours are optimized.

1. The Call to action button:

Every page has one, but most don’t set it up.  When you click on the button, it gives you the option to insert a link.

Step one:

Insert the same link you did for your Juicy Carrot in Step One. If you didn’t do that yet, catch up here.  

Facebook allows you to see the insights on your page. Just this week alone, 26 people have come over to my website for free by clicking on that link.  

2. The Short Description

Step One:  Click on the “About” on your page.

 

Step Two:

Add a link to your juicy carrot at the end of your short bio.

3. Story Link. This is also known as the “The Long Description” on some other pages.  This is another opportunity to insert a link to your juicy carrot.

Step One:  Click on the “About” on your page.

 Step Two: Put a link at the end of your story to your Juicy Carrot.
